Love God

As Christians, our most important relationship is with our Heavenly Father. Only God will satisfy our hearts. David writes, “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory” (Psalm 63:1-2). God made us to have a relationship with him. Loving the Lord your God with your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37) is foundational to His mission.

Love Others

We cannot do it alone, and we need to stay close to the body of Christ. The body of Christ (The Church) is a group of believers that collectively love God. It says in Acts, “They broke bread together in homes with glad and generous hearts praising God and having favor with all people” (Acts 2:46). The love of people inside the Chuch should be a model for the world to live by. Our love for God and each other allows us to be on mission, Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus. Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus

Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus is the mission. The ministry of Jesus on earth was only three and a half years, but he spent every day showing people the way to everlasting life. Before Jesus ascended to Heaven, he said, “Go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). As Christians, we are commanded to go and finish what Jesus started. We are the hands and feet of Jesus. The mission is to make the name of Jesus known!

Deacon Benevolent Fund, which helps fulfill requests for needs from the community.
